Patrick Boey is an Australian-Asian author, creator, and musician working and living in London. He has written several collections of short stories, poetry, and novels, and has been nominated and shortlisted for various writing accolades and awards, such as the 2021 Watty’s.
His writing ranges from the bizarre and terrifying to the tranquil and comforting, in the genres of fantasy, horror, and mystery.
Beyond the Writing…
In 2022, Patrick graduated from the Conservatorium of Music and the University of Sydney with 1st Class Honours, thanks to his major work, the Future’s End album, which focused on the concept of coming to terms with the apocalypse while coming of age in the modern world.
Patrick was raised in Sydney, Australia, did a couple of stints in the tropical humidifiers of Cairns and Singapore, and most recently relocated to London, United Kingdom.
In his spare time, always so evasive in this manically spinning world, Patrick enjoys bouldering, skateboarding, playing video games, watching movies, and trying to figure out how to adopt a dog or cat in London.
Looking to the future, Patrick hopes to find publication for his novel, which has been in the works for nearly 6 years. He also continues to work on his music and art, and other various creative endeavours when the urge strikes him.
